A Plan

Hohoho....Merry Holiday, despite having 4 days of public holiday really make me excited. But not without a plan. Well, don't expect some far travelling to north Atlantic or deep sea Carribean. Just a small and short trip to somewhere within or outside Selangor. Okay, okay I exaggerating over something like that..duhh!!

Not to forget, it is a food-eating trip...yeahhh~~

Below are some suggestions by me and my friends, hmmm not sure which one to choose:

1. Enjoy thai seafood by the lake at Hulu Langat, Ampang

2. Enjoy seafood by the river at Kuala Selangor

3. So-called Burbagam (Bubba Gump) at Sunway Pyramid

4. McD - =..=", man...never thought my friend would recommend it

5. Teluk Gong - been there several times

6. etc..still in research stage

Wee....1 more weeks plus is long 4 Raya holidays....

Will update soon after my short trip. XD

Just received a delivery gift from my beloved friends from JB. Kinda anxious while unwrapping.

Pre-Bangkok

Yeahoo!, after 1 year of waiting, finally our coursemate 1st overseas travel is coming very very soon. Readily prepare where to eat, shop, tour and play.


This time my team members are:
1. Me lah of course
2. My dear, SK
3. Nestor san
4. DD san, and
5. Dami san


As you can see I'm the only girl in the group. No girl want to accompany me T-T. Hopefully they can bear with my shopping addiction.


Anyways, countdown to 11 days to go...really excited and looking forward. And the bad news is this is my last trip before marriage. Next trip to be resume after 2-3 years. Wonder I can resist it or not.


Itinerary and activities to be updated as soon as I get back.

Wedding: Ring

Its like after 3 months only then I plan to post about my proposal and ring. Never too late XD.


My dear proposed to me on 14th Feb 2012, awww....how sweet and I'm deeply surprised by his act. Double aww!! sweet sweet.


The proposal ring. My friend said look like wedding band hahaha.


Went to jewelry shop with dear and my housemate last weekend to choose for my engagement ring. Went to Wah Chan as they offering discount + birthday discount woohoo!. Choosing for few hours and finally yet lucky to have ring that I want.


The salesperson gave me so opinion on what kind of design we want for the casing; special-type, normal type, grand-type and latest trend-type. I choose special as it should be special just for me hehe!It is heart shape white gold casing with diamond in middle. ^^ The salesperson has been very friendly and willing to accommodate our question and provides us some information how to see diamond.


Yet to get the ring as in the process of re-sizing and craving our name on the ring. Looking forward to the end result. Will update the picture as soon as I get it ^^v.


Dear haven't found the ring he love. So plan to survey from other jewelry shop.

Paddington Pancake House (pic to be update soon)

Last week went to Paddington Pancake House for lunch. Bought the voucher from mydeal at rather cheap price, only RM39 for 2 pax. The voucher includes drinks (fruit punch/coffee), appetizers (fruit salad/tomato soup), main course (fish, chicken and beef) and dessert. Worth right.The food came rather quick despite little crowd as it is just the beginning of the lunch time.


Fruit punch taste good to my liking. Taste a little of soda + fruit. Superb.


Fruit salad taste rather normal and the pointy crisp nacho look alike tasteless. Fruit is just normal.


However, the tomato soup is quite good, I only managed to drink 2 spoons T-T before my dear drink all of it.

Jeng!Jeng!Jeng! Here came out main course. Told by the waitress that the menus for the deal are not exist in their normal menu book. Which means is special recipe for all customers that bought from the deal.

First main course: Beef with pancake. The beef is minced. Surprisingly the pancake taste good and this menu have two large pieces of pancake whereby one of it is wrap with pineapple. The pineapple is not sour though. However, I thought the beef is in piece rather than minced. I gave 3/5.


Second main course: Fish with fettuccine. I love the fettuccine to max and the fish taste good too. Superb 2x. However, this fish set does not come with pancake. It's okay, can always eat other people pancake hehehe!


Third main course: Chicken with pancake. Chicken was rather hard. But the grilled make it taste good despite the texture.After satisfied our stomach with main course, we have our last item, the dessert. Mini pancakes (very very cute) topped with fruits and vanilla ice-cream. Pancake taste so good with vanilla ice-cream.. Umai!!!

That's all from my satisfied tummy. Still miss the taste of pancake. awww!!

Lala Chong

Went to Lala Chong Restaurant with dear family. They came all the way from Taiping. So we plan to treat them something decent. Situated inside housing area between Damansara Jaya and Kayu Ara. They have main branch nearby Subang Jaya airport. As I stay nearby Damansara, so I just go to the Kayu Ara branch.


Must order: Superior Soup Lala...really tasty and the lala is big enough. Just correct. Cannot stop drinking the soup. Can't remember the price. Recommended


Vege: Mixed of 4 types of beans; petai, long beans, lady fingers and asparagus peas with XO and dried shrimps. The best. Loved to max. Recommended


Vege: Kailan. Just normal nothing to shout about. I do not really like whole stalk of vege though. Both veges cost RM27.


Salted baked Tilapia. Tasty and bit salty. The fish texture is just nice and smooth. Not too over-cooked. RM35. Recommended


Finally, Lotus Leaf Prawn, must order food when bringing 1st timer friends or relatives. Taste just superb and the prawn is big. However, the costliest among all. RM40. Recommended

Post - Phuket 2011

I concluded that we have our best of Phuket trip last Nov. Hopefully can return to Phuket for other activites that I had missed such as Simon's Cabaret, Fantase and sport activities.

Below is our itinery as a reference.
Day 1:
1. Reach Phuket Airport. 1 hour flight from LCCT.
2. 1 hour car ride to Patong beach. The most happening beach in Phuket. Cost 650 baht per car.
3. Explore around Patong looking for best deals to Phi Phi Island. Cost 1100 baht per person. Cost would increase depending on season.
4. Explore Jungceylon - largest shopping area in Patong beach
5. Having pancake and phad thai


Day 2:
1. Depart to Phi Phi Island. Driver will fetch from hotel and drop at jetty. Trip around 1 hour to 1 hour plus. A big boat will drop one-way passengers or did not take package at Phi Phi Island before proceed to next activities. Trip near 1.5 - 2 hours. Depart from Phi Phi Island to island nearby for snorkeling activities. Lunch will be served on Phi Phi Island.
2. Explore around Phi Phi Island. Decided to overnight at the Island. Plenty of shops and restaurants.

Day 3:
1. Kayaking the next morning to Monkey Island.
2. Departing from Phi Phi Island back to Phuket. Having 3 different times to choose from, 9am, 11am and 2.30pm.
3. We took 2.30pm boat ride and took around 2 hours. 1 hours back to Patong beach. Unable to play sport activities as it is too late :(
4. Rent a return taxi trip to weekend market (MUST GO). Having dinner at the market. The items sold there are a lot cheaper than those sell at Patong beach.

Day 4:
1. Rent motorcycle at 250 baht per day and explore around Phuket Town from North to South.
2. Visited Phuket Town, enjoyed famous noodles known by localties, argh forget the name, having seafood dinner at Rawai Beach, south of Phuket. The food is superb.
3. Stop by random cafe shop for drink to quench thirst. They do not speak English at all ><. Visited temples and Big Buddha. On the way back Patong beach, bypass all the beaches next to Patong beach. Unable to see anything as it was dark.
4. Ending our trip mostly satisfied as we explored whole Phuket. Started our trip at 11am and reached hotel at 7pm.

Day 5:
1. A day trip to visit caves and island
2. Visited James Bond island, bat caves, laguna...etc dunno what name also
3. Lunch is provided on the boat.
4. Visited Jungceylon for last shopping trip at night. Having seafood dinner at Patong beach. Can't remember, cost around 2k thai baht for 4 person.

Day 6:
1. Back to Malaysia early morning.

Phuket food taste so good and near to our cooking Malaysian cooking style compare to Bali's food. Miss their food too. XD
